Salamanca Design & Co is a group of professionals designers that take cares of the development of new products and projects for Companies who want to strengthen their market presence through a strategic design approach.

The idea came from Lucy Salamanca in 1991.

The services offered by Salamanca Design & Co. are characterized by a methodically proven project approach that takes into account and defines each project from multiple perspectives: research, design, development, communication and marketing.

Salamanca design also has two specialized divisions:
- "Eco and Fair Design" focused on environmental and social sustainability
- "Design Kids" for projects and products aimed to children.

Lucy Salamanca conducted her academic studies in Industrial Design at the 'University of Bogota" in Colombia, then specialized at the ' European Institute of Design in Milan in 1985. She is at present coordinator of the Sustainability Commission in the Permanent Observatory of ADI (Industrial Design Association) and Professor of Eco-Design  at the Department of Design and Applied Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna .
